Kunbi Maratha. कुणबी हा कृषीप्रधान समाज इतर मागासवर्गीय (ओबीसी) प्रवर्गात मोडतो आणि आरक्षणाच्या मुद्द्यावरून आंदोलनाचे नेतृत्व करणारे मराठा कोट्याचे कार्यकर्ते मनोज जरंगे हे सर्व मराठ्यांना कुणबी प्रमाणपत्र देण्याची मागणी करत आहेत.ज्यांच्या कुणबी जातीच्या नोंदी सापडल्या आहेत अशा मराठा समाजातील सर्व रक्ताच्या नातेवाईकांना कुणबी म्हणून मान्यता देण्याची अधिसूचना महाराष्ट्र सरकारने २७ जानेवारी रोजी जारी केली.

अधिसूचनेमध्ये असे म्हटले आहे की अर्जदाराने आपल्या रक्ताच्या नातेवाईकांशी – काका, पुतणे आणि त्याच्या कुटुंबातील इतर सदस्य तसेच “पितृसत्ताक” नातेवाईक, ज्यांना कुणबी नोंदी असल्याचे आढळले आहे, त्यांच्याशी संबंध प्रस्थापित करून प्रतिज्ञापत्र सादर केल्यावर कुणबी जात प्रमाणपत्र जारी केले जाईल. अर्जदारांचे “ऋषी सोयरे” (रक्ताचे नातेवाईक).क्षेत्रीय चौकशी व पडताळणी केल्यानंतर कुणबी जातीचे दाखले तातडीने दिले जातील, असे त्यात म्हटले आहे.

The notification said that the Kunbi caste certificate was issued after the applicant submitted an affidavit establishing his relationship with his blood relatives – uncles, nephews and other members of his family as well as “patriarchal” relatives who were found to have Kunbi records. will go “Rishi Soyre” (blood relatives) of the applicants. Kunbi caste certificates will be issued immediately after field inquiry and verification, it said.
